A lifetime of healing, at once.
When I get a project in my head, its all I can really think about until it is done (like this website!).
For Valentine’s in 2025, I wanted to make you a video expressing my love,
and I worked round the clock,
nonstop until it was complete.
It took about 2 days total. (Yeah, I was working on it during work hours — shhhh!)
But the moment I put the final touch on it,
and officially filed it under complete,
I felt accomplished.
And I could not wait to share it with you.
During our nightly FaceTime call, after I sent you the link to watch it on your laptop,
I was not sure what to expect.
Yes, I thought you would indeed appreciate it, and maybe get a tiny tear in your eye…
But the return was so much greater.
Watching you be in awe,
a little shocked,
talking through it,
asking how I did it,
perplexed,
and then completely touched when you noticed I inserted meaning symbols…
The birds flying around the lake,
outer space and the starry skies…
Looking back now, I can see how it was a lot to take in.
And I can see it clearly now, as I watched you through my tiny phone screen.
At the end of the video,
There was a pause on your end—
I see the tears,
and after deep silence,
after you process,
You softly speak, “I feel like I was just healed on multiple past lives.”
And I was completely touched.
You were so tender—
You were so vulnerable.
It was as if some unfinished business had finally been completed,
and a restless soul could finally have pure peace.
My video was a pure expression of how I felt about you…
how I felt about us, and the magic of our relationship.
And to see you heal,
I could feel the experience through the phone.
I already knew I had an amazing version of you that I never wanted to change,
and witnessing you in that moment, I knew the best version of you
that was yet to come was unfolding in front of me.
Oh, what it would have been to hold you that night,
in person,
in my arms.
I imagine it would have made an amazing experience only that much greater.
