Surprise messages.

I love getting surprise messages from you…

A post-it note on the bathroom mirror,

A “You rock” note in my car when I was having a tough morning,

and it was MONTHS later that I noticed the inscription of “Celamoria eternally” inside my engagement ring after your proposal.

So I am no stranger to surprise messages from you.

And the one I recently found also made my day.

Another one of those many months has passed moments,

I dig and find that tiny notebook you bought me on a whim once before.

I opened it, and see somehow I missed the message you wrote on the first blank page.

It took me by surprise, “Awww…..” and then I read the words,

and melt….

Your love for me feels like a blessing and a gift.
