Surprise! Surprise!

The grand day is finally here, and I finally get to reveal this gift to you!!

I have been secretly writing you “letters” for quite some time now on this website blog.

And let me tell you…

It has NOT been easy to hide.

But it has been such a fun project to work on whenever I’ve had a moment to sneak away and add another post.

These letters are reflections, memories, stories, random thoughts, ridiculous moments, and bits and pieces of this life we’ve been creating together since we met.

Not all pictures will necessarily “match” the letter they are accompanying, but most photos are real ones that we took with our own cameras, even if they were taken before we met each other.

There is no real timeline to these letters and not always in chronological order.

They’re simply moments and thoughts as they come to me — things I remember, things we did, things I notice, things that make me laugh, and things I never want us to forget.

Some are deep.

Some are romantic.

Some are ridiculous.

Some are about absolutely nothing.

But they’re all us.

I wanted there to be a permanent little corner of the digital universe that belonged to just you and me.

A place you could visit anytime and be reminded of our life together.

And most importantly…

a place that will always remind you just how deeply you are loved.

You have changed my life in ways I don’t think you will ever fully know….

You have given me more love, laughter, adventure, comfort, friendship, and memories than I ever knew could fit into such a short amount of time.

And I am forever grateful for you.

But here’s the other part of your gift:

This website isn’t finished.

It never will be.

I’ll keep writing.

I’ll keep adding memories.

I’ll keep documenting the big moments and the completely insignificant ones.

Five years from now, there will be more.

Ten years from now, there will be even more than previous.

Twenty years from now, I hope we’ll be sitting beside each other reading something I wrote today and laughing about how young we were. Lol.

And someday, far beyond that, I want this little place to still exist.

I’ll keep the domain renewed. I’ll make sure the girls know how to keep it alive.

Because long after these moments become old memories, the words will still be here.

We were here.

We found each other.

We built this beautiful, strange little life.

And we loved each other tremendously.
