A soul-level type of love.

There are different types and facets of love.

Romantic.

Physical.

Emotional.

Financial.

Spirtual.

Mental.

Convenience.

All of these exist and have their space, time, and reasoning.

Neither right nor wrong.

But since meeting you, I have experienced a different type of love–

a deep, soul-level type of love.

One that connects from a somewhat mystical place beyond all the types of love I just listed.

One that speaks without saying words.

It can be felt,

and it feels eternally timeless.

It is the type of love I knew that was there before I even met you.

It was the feeling a had as a young child,

wrapped up in a book, feeling comfort and safety.

It was the mystery I felt when I would stare at sunsets with wonder.

It was all the feelings I had when a song would get me lost in beautiful thoughts.

A soul-level type of love is always carried with you.

Funny thing is, you don’t even really frame it as love.

Because love at a deep soul level is hard to explain…

you just know that there is “something there”.

And then you show up in my life,

and all of those wonderful feelings, thoughts, and enchanting moments that were before just keep expanding.

It’s like I get to step back to those days, reading books in my room, and your are there with me.

I know it sounds odd,

but to you–probably not.

Because you understand this soul-level love that I am trying to communicate.

Being a human gives so many wonderful experiences, and all those types of love I started with at the beginning of this letter are valid.

And we experience many of those loves together.

But, to have a deep, soul-level love and connection honestly weighs more than the others combined. ♾️
